The so-called microgrid is a small power generation and distribution system that is different from the main power grid. The Trial Measures make it clear that the microgrid power source consists of distributed power sources, electricity loads, etc., and can adapt to the rapid development of new energy, distributed power sources and electric vehicles, etc., to meet the diversified access and personalised demand. Some experts further introduced that the internal power of microgrid comes from distributed energy sources such as natural gas, photovoltaic and wind power. In the northwest and other places with sufficient wind and light resources to build large-scale wind farms, photovoltaic power stations, users in the access to small wind turbines, photovoltaic and other power equipment, it will enable the power to be consumed in the vicinity of the elimination of losses in the transmission of the grid, and to improve the efficiency of the use of energy.

Among them, the installed capacity of renewable energy accounted for more than 50%, or the comprehensive energy utilisation efficiency of natural gas multi-connected supply system is more than 70%.
